Jerusalem, April 1961: Adolf Eichmann — Nazi — on trial for genocide. Hunted down and captured by commandos, Eichmann was secretly brought to Jerusalem. Ben Gurion called his public trial “The Jewish Nuremburg”. The first of its kind, Eichmann’s prosecution marked a turning point in how the Holocaust is remembered everywhere. The world watched as Israel called witness after witness to testify against him. Now history was being told by its victims. And the media was there to record the event. A documentary that draws on extraordinary footage from the trial itself, 'Eichmann On Trial' recounts his capture, prosecution and death sentence. Also included are interviews with survivors, commandos, lawyers and writers that portray their experience of this historic case.
