Synopsis

Colours reach us loaded with history. They have been the object of prohibition and privileges, have aroused passions and won fortunes or caused ruin. Today the proliferation of different shades and the short fashion cycles have blunted our sensitivity of the subtle rules that govern our appreciation of colour.This series aims to rediscover this sensitivity to colour. It is a journey across Europe, through museums, studios, battlefields - everywhere where the paths of light meet.
