GUSTAVO DUDAMEL: Back to Caracas
1 x 60 '
Synopsis
At the age of just 26, Gustavo Dudamel is an unconventional superstar. But as he skyrockets through the stratosphere of classical music, Dudamel has never forgotten his roots. Since 17, he remains music director of the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra. Now, as he prepares to take the helm of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Dudamel heads back to his native Venezuela for an inspirational hometown concert.
Multiple cameras will capture the music and the magic as the returning maestro mentors his young protégés through the works of Saint Saens and Moussogorski, set to the backdrop of the impressive Teatro Teresa Carreño in Caracas.
A 26' portrait of DUDAMEL will be shortly available
