Synopsis
It is the story of two children in a big house full of flowers. Flowers are Sweetie’s passion. He is twelve years old, son of rich producers. He only has two great fears : stars and the boarding school where his father threatens to send him because of his bad results.Anibal, five years old, is a small Peruvian boy who has been adopted by Sweetie’s parents. He does not speak French and is only interested in his socks.
Two children, two “brothers” who are totally different : one being very silent, still and wise like his ancestors and the other jeering and cute.Sweetie is first jealous of this “brother” but when he has an asthma and almost suffocates.. it is the beginning of a complicity which will lead them to the “ Cordillère des Andes” mountains as they run away from home together…These two children look at the adults’world with an accute sense of naivety, humor and insolence. It is the look of a writer who perfectly knows the language of children and flowers.
