CLEMENTINE
1 x 91 '
Synopsis
Moineau, a lawyer, recalls the story of a former client:
Clementine, the youngest of a poor family, at the age of 14 is raped by her father and made to prostitute herself for her brother, Paulin. When Paulin dies, Clementine flees to Paris. It is during the Occupation.
One night as she is out in the street after curfew, she is arrested by the police and sent to the Drancy internment camp. She meets a young woman named Claude. They are deported to a camp inside Germany where they both devote themselves body and soul to their fellow-prisoners, thus saving dozens of them from death. But Claude dies.
Despite her sorrow, Clementine continues her good work.
