Synopsis
The Court of Assises.
The further away you are from it, the better you feel as this court is the one which judges crimes. In other words, assassination, murder, rape, aggravated theft, etc. In this fiction directed by Alain Nahum, Jean-Claude Brialy plays Judge Ferrare. An all-powerful man who, nevertheless, is unable to pierce his own mystery. Although he has all this power, he is unable to find his wife Marylin who inexplicably disappeared and whose body has never been found... His family drama makes him a judge who tries to understand why the people who come before him could have committed a crime.
