Synopsis

?Around the Blues' is primarily the story of a rare encounter, the unexpected gathering of 40 musicians brought together by their shared love of the blues: Denis Lable, Francis Cabrel, Michael Jones, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Patrick Verbecke, Axel Bauer...The result was a recording of an album that was to be an homage to "the mother of all music".
Patrick Savey's fly on the wall cameras were there to capture with the greatest discretion each song and each moment of the recording sessions. A unique televisual experience, which brings the spectator into the intimacy of the artist in studio and show the blues in its purest form of improvisation.
