BORDER PATROL
1 x 52 '
Synopsis
The American-Mexican border. Over 3,000 kms of walls, barbed wire and the world's most modern surveillance devices. This border area that runs from Texas to California by way of New Mexico and Arizona, is the most heavily policed area in the world.
There are 9,000 heavily armed men and women to patrol this border, the Border Patrol, the biggest police force in the United States with almost unlimited means at its disposal.
How do they work? Who are they? Who do they depend on and where does their money come from? How many people manage to slip through their net? What happens to them when they are caught?
On the Line is an exceptional documentary film with wonderful photography to help in the telling of terrific human stories that are sometimes also heart-rending.
