Synopsis
DOCU-DRAMA
It all began with an encounter between two people. In 1902, Rainer Maria Rilke, an anxious, frail, unknown young man, went to Paris to write a monograph on Auguste Rodin, who was already a powerful, famous, fascinating "old man". This encounter led to a relationship between the two men which veered from emotion to violence. Rodin made Rilke his "plaything", and Rilke accepted it out of intellectual and physical fascination or, as some would claim, to make a name for himself in the Parisian intelligentsia of the day...
