SUITES ALEATOIRES (FRICKER)
1 x 27 '
Synopsis
Pre-established game rules give the performers a space that is both playful yet rigorous. They play on discontinuity, repetition, distortion, asymmetry, the exchange of energies and make themselves available. DJ Guy Ajaguin accompanies the three dancers as a disruptive element that can influence the dance's quality. The element of randomness intercedes in the ever-changing chronology of the performance; thus the rhythm and states of the dancers vary. There are 720 performance variations.
This set-up inspires a complicity with the audience who see a new representation at the same time as the dancers. A phenomenon that is both acoustic and visual where the audience hears what it sees and sees what it hears.
