Synopsis

In 2000 Avignon was elected European City of Culture along with Bergen, Bologna, Brussels, Cracow, Helsinki, Prague and Reykjavik.
What has become of the dance in Europe? What has become of its young choreographers? How do they express the body? Do they do it the same way? To get the same things said?
The words may be different, but the body remains the same. With help from European companies, bodies more than words give us elements of the answer.
