Synopsis

Early summer each year the Heiva is an immense Polynesian festival bringing together all the dancers from French Polynesia in a well attended competition.
Like everyone else, Tahina gets ready and waits in expectation for the event that highlights the life of the islands.
The film delves into the passion felt by this young woman for the dance by way of this major event: preparations, long discussions, encounters, , costume-making, rehearsals, etc. until one fine day when everyone dances, just once, in front of a panel who decide on the best group and the best female dancer.
