Synopsis

A married man is to join his mistress, a surgeon's wife, in a hunting lodge in South West France. The lodge is near a chateau where the man and his mistress are both invited to a fancy dress party. The lodge normally reserved for brief stopovers by hunters is the setting for a brief encounter for the lovers. The lover considers himself a thief of precious moments, fleetingly stolen from his lover's family life. There is debauchery, confrontation, incompatibility, passionate embraces and the quest for openness even though both know it could change their relationship.
