Synopsis

This film deals with the sensitive issue of xeno-transplants from the point of view of illness and patients. It includes the views and hopes of a surgeon and a doctor who take part in international research on xeno-transplants and also a nurse who also assumes the role of hospital chaplain.
The film states simply that xeno-transplants exist, how the practice came about and how it is developing. There are no sensational images or shattering declarations, only the emotions of those that care for patients. The film tries to emphasize the humane aspect of xeno-transplants.
