Synopsis
Pensioner Marcel lives in a small village in the Midi. He lives between the bistro where he plays cards with his friends and his modest apartment where he is constantly told off by his wife Simone. For nearly 50 years Marcel has been doing what he's told. But Simone dies unexpectedly and Marcel is alone in the world. However, he soon realizes his new sense of freedom. A new life opens up, a life without forbidden limits and although he has never before left his village, he seriously considers taking a holiday.
