Synopsis

Denise Darvet-Stuart has three children who believe their father is Edouard, long since dead. In fact each child has a different father: Mikael, a perfect gentleman, Latzeresko, an excessive and romantic Polish pianist and Dominique, a French dilettante.
When Denise hears that two of her children are to marry two girls from a local well respected family, she tries to find a real father for them in the name of respectability. She invites her former lovers, reveals they are fathers and invites one of them to officially become the head of the family.
