Synopsis
This film follows two men on an expedition from Kew Botanical Gardens in London to Yunnan in China to learn more about the orchid in its natural habitat. One is a biologist studying plants and traditional medicine in the search for new drugs. The other is a writer and traveller, convinced that it is in China that there is the most to learn about this mysterious plant. But for both, it is their unspoken dream on this journey to unearth a new species of orchid.
