Synopsis
In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, at a depth of more than 2500 metres, chains of undersea volcanoes and deep sea thermal vents have been discovered. Remarkably in this unimaginably harsh environment without sunlight or oxygen, life forms including shrimps and mussels, flourish.
