Synopsis
Organized around two tales, this documentary, in the light of over a century of colonial history, traces the events of the day of 25 August 1958 during which Sékou Touré said no to General De Gaulle who, for the constitution of the Fifth Republic, wanted to reaffirm French domination over the African territories. On that day, at Conakry, the African head of state was to launch his country on the road of independence.
