Synopsis
It is Paris 1920, Jean Gaussin is a young student recently arrived in Paris to prepare his diplomatic service exams. At a fancy-dress ball, he meets a beautiful but ageing model known as Sapho who seduces him. Her sensuality both fascinates and terrifies the young man. While he is bowled over by the affair, for her, their love takes on a whole other dimension.
