HUNTERS OF THE SOLOMON ISLANDS
3x26'
Synopsis
The Solomon Islands in the South Pacific are today best known for being the site of one of the decisive battles of the Second World War: Guadalcanal. The hot and humid climate and the remoteness of the islands has also led to a great diversity of flora and fauna, often growing to giant size. Small local communities live in harmony with their natural environment - they hunt for food, yet always ensure the survival of the animal populations they live off.
